How Porosit permanent drainage works
Porosit filter bodies are erected between the building and the surrounding earth as a dry stone wall. Soil moisture penetrates through the pores of the filter elements. The porous concrete drains the water quickly and without damaging the masonry. This prevents the water from reaching the house in the first place.

Drainage blocks made of porous concrete are built into a drainage wall to protect structures in contact with the ground from non-pressing water (DIN 4095). They absorb the accumulating water over a large area and direct it to the receiving watercourse via concrete filter pipes or base pipes.
The function of the drainage wall is only guaranteed by the complete system of drainage blocks and accessories. Drainage blocks absorb vertical and horizontal loads without deforming. At the same time, they protect the structural waterproofing from damaging shear loads. The requirements of DIN 18195 Part 10 are thus fulfilled.
Various forms of drainage stones such as filter plates, solid filter stones and filter bodies are manufactured for a wide range of applications.
The use of the different drainage stones depends on: Installation depth, water accumulation and loads from earth pressure and additional compaction equipment. Ongoing external and internal monitoring guarantees consistent quality
